WHO WE NEED
The Leacross Foundation Internship Program is for a summer internship at ROM for female-identifying students, representing a partnership that will build and strengthen the careers of undergraduate scholars while advancing ROM’s position as a premier Canadian research institution. There will be a cohort of five interns, one in Biodiversity, one in Earth and Space (including Climate Change), Fossils, Art & Culture, and Collections Care. These interns will meet throughout the summer to learn more about the ROM and the different collections and initiatives.

In collaboration with the ROM archivist, the intern will assess the historical significance of these materials to identify items that should be permanently preserved in the ROM archive. Additionally, the intern will process materials by classifying, cataloging, and indexing them by established archival practices.
The intern will be able to engage with other Leacross Foundation interns to gain insights into different areas of the institution beyond Natural History. They will be encouraged to share their projects with fellow interns.
